Howto: Community festival
A community festival needs to be created and maintained. Once created the link can be shared, like any other festival group in the app.
Within the app the menu item to create a festival is located in the “add/select festival” screen.
A festival can be prepared with the included template file and later imported into the app or within a web browser.
When using the template, the file structure needs to be kept, otherwise the import will fail. Once imported & created it will be possible to add media, like logo, background & map using a web browser.
A community festival must be shared before invitation is activated. To share a festival an account is needed. Community festival are private and not found in the shop view, they can only be joind with the invitation link.
Once the festival is created and shared people can be invited by using the ‘share’ symbol from the “add/select festival” screen. Invited people don’Ät need an account, it is enough to install the app and open the join link for a group.
