Running Order privacy statement

collected data and usage

all user data collected by the app is given voluntarily by the user and can be freely changed by the user. The app uses the following data

  • username & password: used to identify a user on a different or new device, after reinstalling the app. Both are not stored in the app, only in the backend. The username needs to be unique for the app, othwerise freely chosen, i.e. not an email-address, not a real name.
  • nickname: the nickname is shown to peers in the user’s festival groups. The nickname is stored on the user’s device, on the backend to facilitate adminstrative purposes of the app, as well as on the peers devices to display the user within his group
  • items bought via the apple/goole app store are identified by id only, no personalised data is received from the store. Specifically neither the logged in account of the app store, nor an id connecting the user to an app store account
  • a unique device id. Necessary for adminsitrative purposes on the user’s device and on the backend. The backend additionally might store
  • the IP Address for purposes of ensuring continous operations of the backend.

deletion of personal data

  • nickname is removed from the festival group on the backend, and on the peer’s devices upon leaving a group. This is done by ‘delete festival’ from the app
  • username/password: deletion can be requested from within the app. This is done by using the ‘delete account’ button.

All communication between the app on the user’s device and the backend is encrypted.
